Amazonite is a blue-green semi-precious gemstone, a variety of the mineral microcline, a feldspar. It's known for its unique colour and has been used in jewellery and ornamental applications for centuries. The name "Amazonite" comes from the Amazon River, though the stone is not actually found there.

Amazonite is believed to have various physical, emotional, and spiritual healing properties, including aiding in cell regeneration, balancing the thyroid, and promoting emotional equilibrium. It's also thought to protect against electromagnetic pollution and can be used to soothe anxious thinking.
