Dendritic Opals, known for their fern-like inclusions, are primarily found in Australia, the United States, and Mexico. While other locations like Brazil and Madagascar also produce dendritic opal, the finest gem-quality stones are often sourced from these three countries. The unique patterns within dendritic opal are formed by manganese or iron oxides.
