Moonstone is a feldspar mineral known for its adularescence, a shimmering, milky, or bluish light that appears to move across the surface when the stone is moved. This effect, also called schiller, is caused by a layered microstructure within the stone, where alternating layers of orthoclase feldspar and albite scatter light. 

Healing Properties:

Moonstone is believed to have various physical, emotional, and metaphysical healing properties, including hormonal balance, emotional stability, and enhanced intuition. It's also thought to promote restful sleep, alleviate stress, and strengthen relationships.
