Nephrite (Jade)

Nephrite is one of the two mineral species classified as "jade", the other being jadeite. It's a silicate mineral, specifically a member of the amphibole group, typically found as aggregates of fine, interlocked fibres. Nephrite is known for its durability and is used in carvings, beads, and cabochon-cut gemstones.
